Cedar Breaks through Bristlecone Pine Frame
Cedar Breaks Sunset 2
Last car off the mountain!

These past three days have been filled with driving, touring Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument and finally arriving in Park City, Utah. The sights along the way were filled with a rainbow of color, and a swatchbook of textures. After enjoying the Park City Art Festival with an excellent variety of works of all kinds including some extraordinary photography, my luck with weather finally ended. I was on the top of a mountain as the skies opened and I caught the last car down off the mountain as the thunderstorm swept through the mountains. Thus my ability to catch up on this blog. It is a rainy Monday so I am catching up on this and will soon head to the theatre for some film fun.

Enjoy the new pics in the gallery!

yesterday at antelope canyon

Today I took it easy, slept in a bit, did a little reading, went to see Ant Man (fun) and read and passed along the paper Carol Terracina and I are working on for AEJMC. A relaxing day. It’s threatening rain. I might go out to see how the desert deals with it, of course staying away from washes and flash flood areas.

Tomorrow I leave Mesquite very early in the morning and head to Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. 107 today, 50 tomorrow!

By the way, the pics you see are my workstation set up in my condo with the trees blowing outside the window, yesterday amongst the mass of humanity in Antelope Canyon and the view off my balcony to the south – somethings brewing!.

Look for new pics in a couple of days as I will be away from wifi for a couple of days. Later!
